2008 NHL playoffs
The 2008 NHL playoffs have just started tonight. Being the biggest resident fan it seems I have decided to start a thread for anyone (if there is anyone) who is interested.
For those who don't know here is how it stacks up in the first round: ROUND 1- EAST Montreal Canadians(1) vs Boston Bruins(8) Pittsburgh Penguins(2) vs Ottawa Senators(7) Washington Capitals(3) vs Philadelphia Flyers(6) New Jersey Devils(4) vs New York Rangers(5) WEST Detroit Red Wings(1) vs Nashville Predators(8) San Jose Sharks(2) vs Calgary Flames(7) Minnesota Wild(3) vs Colorado Avalanche(6) Anaheim Ducks(4) vs Dallas Stars(5) I will keep this first post up as the playoffs go on, even though my team looks to be eliminated very soon. If anyone has predictions or thoughts I am always happy to discuss my favorite sport. |

I don't follow the sport in-depth, but I do have an interest in it. Channel Five (in the UK) occassionally show NHL matches, and I usually watch them, so I'll keep an eye on this.
I'll go for the Red Wings.

go predators! it wont happen, but good luck, and of course, the wings are where its at. (i was a wing nut during the whole gimmick they had going on int eh 90's, and yeah, i got a yzerman rookie card

its been a while sense the pengis got a cup, i think thats fair. now i hope the Canadians or even the rangers take it home, been quite some time for both.
