GearBox Studios has been very nice to us, and it would be awesome if community members could send them a big thank you. Allison Berryman is the main person that has been helping us. So please show them your support. In the next coming months we should have an exclusive interview with them coming up if all goes well.

That game was so bad it hurt, but thanks anyway, at least they brought the wonderful Halo to PC (and at least they're not bringing Halo 2 to PC).
I'd like to see a completely new game from them, actually, they have potential.

Agreed. I thought they also made another Half-Life 1 mod, but I could be wrong... I probably am.

BIA was by no means a horrible game. The multiplayer sorta failed, but the main game was a work of art and had plenty of innovations I wish other war games would incorporate.

What he said.

I never could see how the multiplayer would take off! It was kind of like id saying.. "here's Doom 3, wicked graphics, you'll love to play it, we even gave you multiplayer but only 4 people can play! It should be just as much fun as Quake 3!" 4 people just doesn't do it unless you're playing an RTS or something.. then you can get away with that... when your competition is MASSIVELY multiplayer.. then you at least have to give us NORMAL multiplayer! ;)

As to the Gearbox thing, they rock the world! I love Gearbox games!

No other game allowed you to use a Barnacle, and no other game had three melee weapons.

Blue Shift wasn't bad either, considering there were a lot of battles to make up for the simple storyline, and the story ended on a better note than the others.

So yeah Gearbox rules big time. They should contact Valve and get permission to do Opposing Force 2 and be allowed to use the Source engine unconditionally. And this time do a storyline without the G-Man involved for once, and with the same 7 or more categories of weapons, and each category having 3 or more weapons. Tell Mr. Berryman that Cpl Adrian Shephard deserves his own slice of the action of the time period of HL2.
At least it will be there chance to show Valve that removing the M29 OICW from HL2 was their biggest mistake ever as well.
