When it comes to mobile gaming, Americans have a more aggressive and competitive nature when compared to their European counterparts, according to a report released by the research firm, Skopos. The study was paid for by I-Play, a mobile game developer and publisher. According to the report, only 17% of European mobile gamers said they played to win, while the Americans clocked in at 45%.
The study, which had a participant base of 2,500 individuals, indicated that Americans tended to play mobile games longer and more frequently than the Europeans. As far as preferences in the types of games, the Europeans liked games with action while the Americans preferred games that were more casual in nature. No matter what the game, both sides of the ocean agreed that the easy games were more preferable than complex ones.
