News Headers

Some of the news headers have big patches of black (or another color). It looks bad in my opinion. I think you should fill that empty space up with something...

Do you think you can post an example of that, the link anyways. Are you referring to the headline images or the actual border with the article title in it?

I think he's referring to the large header images (banner-like) that top each article. Usually there is a picture portion, then a large black space where text is inserted. I agree, it doesn't look 100% quality, but we are still ironing out the details of how GN looks and feels, as we're trying to find the very best methods for every aspect of GamerNode.

I like the news headers with the darker half. First of all it's unique, it's simple - and simple is definately the best - and it doesn't look amatuer to me.....JMO

Perhaps we could add in a small GamerNode image in that space, almost like a semi-transparent watermark behind the text. I think that might look cool, but I'd have to see it in practice to be sure.

The first isn't an example of all the banners we use, however it shows the difference more clearly.

imo. The headers have no branding, are very plain, and have really no template style.
