Good movie. Intense. Especially at the part where Vin Diesel dies. It was intense mainly because I was hoping no one would go out to save him, I thought they would and he'd end up living.

This movie makes me think of a time I was down in Virginia in Lauray Caverns. They had a sign that had the people that had been killed during WWII from that town. The sign had the names of four people... all from the same family. It would be hard to imagine.

Best war movie? Top 3 easy. Sniper shot with the wrong hand, tank cannon blew him out of a church tower that it could not have hit due to its hight. A few other things. I really loved Band of Brothers which was done the same way as saving private ryan. Best semi-series ever.

Great war movie, Apocolypse now, saving private ryan and Platoon are my favorites

Oh yeah.. How can you not like saving private ryan. I especially like the start, the beaches of Normandie are fenomenal. You feel the explotions in your entire body. (if you have a subwoofer :))

Are we looking for best or most fun! I really liked Saving Private Ryan but I agree that Band of Brother's was better. My favourite war movie though is Hamburger Hill. The most fun one I have seen would have to be Kelly's Heroes!

my favorite war movie ever was The Longest Day. Old but it was great. Of course Tora Tora Tora and Midway were a few more good old war movies.
