Pitt's goin all the way... all the way to the bottom of the unranked teams. Just think, back when they had Fitzgerald, they sucked but they were still ranked. Tyler Palko = the suck.

This is what I'm calling

BCS Championship game

Ohio State vs. Michigan (Rematch very likely. Only team that can hang close to Ohio)

2nd highest bowl game

Notre Dame vs. Arkansas (ND victory over USC [ND will have an uphill battle as they're away; I'm not being biased but I think ND might be able to pull it off this year], Arkansas victory over Flordia)

3rd highest bowl game

USC vs. Flordia

I heard they said if the score was close enough, that it would be the BCS championship. I still think the playoff system sucks.

I think they should start a playoff system like the NFL. The whole BCS ranking thing is really dumb. I remember a few years ago they about ran into a problem when 4 teams almost made it undefeated. That would have been hell if 2 of them hadn't lost their last game.

The AP polls should be left there (just for ranking purposes), but determine bowl seating by playoff brackets.

The thing is, the BCS/AP polls tend to be inaccurate because college teams could play worse teams, still go undefeated, and make it into an important bowl game and get murdered by another team outside their normal schedule.
