Madden Curse Strikes Again

As you know, last year's NFL MVP Shaun Alexander made it onto the cover of Madden 07. I'm sure you all know about the Madden Curse. Well Shaun Alexander has fallen victim to it by breaking his foot. I live in Portland now, and it was absurd how many people spent the latter half of the day talking about this. All I heard during MNF was, "I can't believe Alexander is hurt!" and "This isn't fair!"

Does it suck? Yes. Of COURSE it sucks. But it's not like no one gets hurt!

(I'm just venting frustration at living in an area that not only has no football team, but worships one I don't particularly care for.)
