Im having trouble with my friends counter strike. he has it stuck in perpetual left handed mode. we have tried everything, deleting confiq files, using console commands, deleting and reinstalling steam. nothing is working. whats up?

Run backwards and shoot over your shoulder, then it will be just like being right handed. Except that you're running backwards, and shooting over your shoulder!

On a serious note, I have no idea! This is the kind of thing that calls for drastic action! RELOAD!!!!!!!

Uhm.... Is it an old computer? Right-handed for counterstrike doesn't work if you use software mode as the graphics for CS 1.6 and lower.

If it's CS Source I'm not sure...

Don't worry, eventually he'll get used to left-handed, I had to do it all the time in school

Gun is lefthanded?

put cl_righthand 1 in your autoexec, if that doesn't work do cl_righthand 1 in your config and make your cfg file read-only

Go into option---> video and change the renderer to OpenGL (game designed for OGL) or Direct3D (works but some of the text is a little garbled)
