Since there's no strategy forum yet, I'll put this in the General Gaming forum for now.
The Ballerium (http://www.ballerium.com/) official site mentions that the MMORTS (Massive Multiplayer Online Real-Time Strategy game) has re-launched and that another beta round will be hosted on August 6th.
The site also holds information about the game's seven races (http://www.ballerium.com/community/thegame/twolevels.php?ln=en&curr_cat_id=29&main_id=9), buildings (http://www.ballerium.com/community/thegame/twolevels.php?ln=en&curr_cat_id=37&main_id=9), some concepts (http://www.ballerium.com/community/thegame/twolevels.php?ln=en&curr_cat_id=36&main_id=9) and screenshots (http://www.ballerium.com/community/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=504&thumb=1).
Ballerium had some past history bumps. Originally hosting a 2004 release date in September 2003 (story (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/ballerium/news_6075857.html)), the game was put on hold in November 2004 (story source (http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=52707)) due to client problems.
But in December 2004, a post on their forums (http://www.ballerium.com/community/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2395) mention that Interplay (publisher of such RPG classic franchises like Baldur's Gate and Fallout) has stepped in to fund the game.
But as Interplay pretty much went down the can (story (http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=53906)), funding ceased just last month again and Ballerium was again put on hold.
Thanks to Blue's News (http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=58981).
