The peripherals are one of the ways console developers make up for lost cash on units sold. So for cables I usually get Monster Standard cables... and controllers usually some generic brand name. They're cheaper.

gah!!!!!!!! expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 30 bucks for a face plate? and 60 for a controller? horrible. ms sucks.
