Hello everyone,

GamerNode.com is searching for a few talented individuals to fill it's open positions. Let me start by saying that if you're low on time and/or under the age of 18, dont bother reading the rest of this message.

We're currently searching for two high level positions.

Lead graphics artist.

What he or she is responsible for:
The lead graphics artist must be online and working on the daily images at a set time (usually later in the afternoon.)
It is the lead graphics artist's job to make sure each and every image looks its absolute best.

We require that the lead graphics artist must have past experience. All inquiries filed with no resume attached will be dropped.

Media Director

What he or she is responsible for:
The media director is responsible for all GamerNode media.
The day to day job of a media director usually involves uploading massive quantities of new screenshots/video.

You'll need to know how to operate a remote desktop connection. You'll also need to know how to encode flash video media.

We require that the media director have past experience as well. As stated above, all inquiries filed with no resume attached will be dropped.

Both positions will be given light training.

If you're interested in a bright future in the gaming industry, please email our hiring department at "Hiring<at>GamerNode<DOT>com. Or you can visit Gamernode.com and click the contact us tab in the left nav menu.

I look forward to hearing from you all.

I'd like to help but I'm not the most talented dude here (nor do I have time). But hey if you ever open up a position for a writer I'd definately volunteer (after I get some more training...Maybe after year two of college).

So anyway not to totally waste your time by posting this, let me just say for those who wish to apply this is a great and potential-full place to let your skills shine :)

Good Luck!

I have an inquiry about the Lead graphics artist. What exactly will that position be working on? Website layouts? News images? Polishing up screens? Sorry if I sound dumb here, but “It is the lead graphics artist's job to make sure each and every image looks its absolute best.” sounded vague to me. =P

So these people need to have talent, eh? Well, if you don't get any submissions, and you have to start lowering your standards to someone who is mediocre, and then to someone who sucks, and then to someone who sucks and barely knows how to use a computer, then I am your man.
