Hey guys,
Chances are that you tried to come into the GamerNode website yesterday and could not. We apologize for the downtime but we're happy to announce that the problems have been resolved. Now you might notice (as Jon did) that some of your posts are'nt around anymore. Well we had to backup the forums which cut off any posts made past 3pm EST.
Our button pusher in the back room pushed the red glowing "DO NOT PUSH" button...and the server exploded.
Again sorry for the inconvenience,
John :salute:

Hey, no need to apologize. We need to thank you guys for putting massive amounts of work into this site, just to keep us low life’s happy.
Oh, and it's ok we all know what really happened to the server (Bradley + Vodka + Server = Bad News).

That was scary, er, about the site going down, not about the "Bradley equation.":) But anyway, is the counter for the site working? It's the thingy at the bottom of the forums which tells how many people are on and who. So far, it seems to show only one person, and I know that there are usually at 15-20 people on GN at any given time.

Yeah when Myself, Iain and Hubi where up at Midnight and beyond trying to get the site up we were troubleshooting some recently installed stuff to the forums. So we will do our best to make sure everything gets back to the way it was a most of all working. Lol @ Paul

Deleting cookies should fix your problem. What browser are you using.

FireFox...
I clicked the delete files button (on temporary files) and it didn't work...so I opened the folder manually and deleted everything in there and I still can't stay logged in :(
I know once when I clicked Log Out it said "All cookies have been deleted", you don't think it put a cookie or something there to tell my computer not to accept any more cookies from GamerNode? Haha...
I'll close FireFox and delete the cookies again and hope that works.
edit: I deleted them again and even went to the FireFox options and clicked delete cookies but it's still not keeping me logged in :(
It's a real pain..I have to log in every 20 minutes.

Yes, we are having a cookie saving problem. I found a little fix to this problem. Please logout then head to the forums, once you’re on the forums logged out, please click on a forum and enter a thread. Once in a thread, try to make a post. It should take you into a login screen. Make sure you hit "remember me" and this should fix the problem.

This used to work however now it doesn't. I will recheck.
