C'mon guys, theres got to be some Nascar fans lurking around here. Tell me who you like, dont like etc.etc.

My Favorite hasn't been doing so well this year, yet. He drives the #12 Alltell Dodge and goes by the name of Ryan Newman. He is in his 6th year. His first 5 years as a cup driver, he managed to get 35 poles in 152 starts. Thats every 4.3 races, he starts on the pole.
Also on my favs list are Tony Stewart, Earnhardt jr and Bobby Labonte. One of my oldest favs, Rusty Wallace retired last year:sad:

My least liked people are Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth and Kurt Bush.

I hate Ford with a passion and adore Dodge.

ok guys, your turn.

oh he is indeed wrong good sir.

NASCAR is a sport as the day is long. Drivers need to be metally and physically tough. You tell a driver that has his power steering fail during a road course it isn't a sport, I think he'd HIGHLY disagree.

I think Nascar is definately a sport, and I also enjoy it. My favorite driver is Tony Stewart because I like his personality and he's just good.

I haven't gotten to watch many races this year because I work every Sunday night and don't wake up until 9PM :D

To those who say Nascar isn't a sport, I'd like to know why?

He's the local boy around here :icon_roll. He's alright, but I just hate how news anchors report about NASCAR double time now because of him. They have no idea what they are talking about. (I live about 20 seconds from the Indiana border, and was born in that state so.. lol)

I liked Earnhardt when I wacthed as a little kid, and enjoied NASCAR up till last year. Although, I haven't been able to catch any races due to my work schedule. I just feel NEXTEL and better technology ruined things. I miss the old days where races were won by the driver and not by how areodynamic your car is, or how great the engine is under the hood. Mid 90's was a great time to watch racing.

I'm an F1 fan, and as such I honestly can't stand Nascar. Cart racing isn't too bad, especially with super-hottie Danica Patrick =D, but I haven't watched it since Greg Moore died.

If you're an F1 fan and dont like Nascar then you're in the wrong thread.

This week could be the turning point that Ryan needs.

The longest race of the season, The Coca-Cola 600

Charlotte
Newman has started from the top five in all 10 of his races at Lowe's Motor Speedway, the longest current streak. All 10 of his starts are fourth or better -- including five Bud Poles -- and he has five top-10s with a 17.9 finishing average.

It was hardly spam, I was pointing out that even though NASCAR is fun to play... it doesnt intregue me enough to watch it on television.

My apologies. I thought that since the Title was for Nascar fans, not non-fans, i would try to keep it on-topic. Carry on guys.:)
