Hey guys,

One of the new features found on the GamerNode is the ability to voice your opinion of a game via the discuss tab. Now each game has its own message board! Hate those new screenshots? Voice your opinion. We want you to be heard!

That's fantastic! Probably one of my favorite features about the new site, too.

Pretty cool, not sure how much I will actually use it though.

I love its idea the only thing i would really like to see in conjunction with this is a way to get those game specific dissucions/forums/boards more popular, perhaps having a place that shows the latest threads/posts from game specific or when you go to the game its obvious that there are created threads or posts for the accompanying forum. :)

perhaps on each game page have a "recent discussions" list for that particular game, to perhaps lure more people to use the discussion feature...

:goes to check if that actually exists already because I never checked thoroughly :P

Personally I'd rather talk about the games in the forum than that, it's just more work and less viewed.

Good idea, but just not for me... I mean why do we have forums if your gonna do all your individual game discussing there?

It's more of a comment thing than a discussion thing..but still.

There is a latest discussion's bar on the game page. :)

Ahh yes...but if your reading a review or preview and on the right you can click disscus, but there is no mention of latest discussion around there. Perhaps you could have the Disscus button be red or something if someone has recently posted. Or find a way to make it more popular to discuss the previews/reviews.

As the button doesn't seem very noticable, and you can't find the game forums in the main GN forums. Maybe the GN Forums could have the differant main forums PC Gaming, etc. have a subforum for Reviews/Previews, and multiple sub forums in there for games. That way it is all findable through the main forums, and yet not adding to the length of index forum.

I think finding a way to integrate it to the main forum would be awsome and make them more popular and active, and noticable. IMHO.

If we had the game page forums showing up on the main forums it would be way too many forums showing. In a few months we're going to have a game database spanning past 5,000 games. That's a lot of forums. Plus, this will all get better in time. When more people start visiting the site regularly there will be much more people using those game page forums. It's meant to be your own little private domain where you can just talk about that one game. Think of it like a fan website for that game.
