View Full Version : Whats up with the header?

Well as you might have noticed our header is a bit messed up to say the least. Upon upgrading to vB 3.5.4 our menu nav system in the header is not compatible. The good news is, the new forum skin for the site will be here very soon so you will not need to look at this for to much longer.

Was there an announcement about this update? I came to the forums and they were gone, I got all these errors, and then later it said updating...I thought maybe it crashed and burned haha...

It would have been nice to know that this was going to happen so I didn't have to try coming here 50 times yesterday :P

Well when upgrading you need to remove all the files so even if I had a message on it still would have not showed up. The main thing to know is everything is working except this header which I will look at again today.

:D Okay but I mean next time give a few day's notice :P I checked the forums yesterday morning, but when I woke up everything was all whacked out :D So if there would have been an announcement I would have known and then not had to even bother coming here to find out the hard way :~P

Good news though, especially on the new skin, because this one is just bleh...haha Can't wait to see it :D

I would have helped, but I am sick. I will get the header working by tonight I hope :)

UPDATE: I have got the nav links to at least show up on FF but in IE tis all blank. If I cant get this working, there will only be the header with no nav links.

UPDATE: Forums header with nav now works in both in IE and FF

Hubi don't kill yourself over this our new forum skin should be arriving very very soon. Thanks by the way for getting it up in FF.
