TechTV FTW!!!

Bring back Unscrewed, TSS, and Leo Laporte!

We can cut Unscrewed though, Martin was so much better as the semi-mature Twisted Lister.....

TSS and Call 4 Help are the two greatest television shows in the history of tv! So informative and diverse. I watched it, my mom watched it with me, my dad sometimes watched it, my grandmother watched it.

Everyone could enjoy it and learn from it, my grandma learned a lot from it and sometimes would teach me stuff like 'check this out, I saw it on TechTV' I liked that...

Call 4 Help was cool both with Leo and Chris Pirillo....

Patrick Norton was the Shizle! Kilts!!!!!! and taking the sledgehammer to PC's...



I'm literally tearing up thinking about TechTV...You'd have to understand, TechTV was my youth. Every single day after highschool I would come home to catch the end of ExtendedPlay and then Call 4 Help..

Even before that, one summer after Jr. High I think my cousin introduced me to ZDTV...

Anyway I'd come home, grab a snack while my mom cooked dinner, grab a soda and sit on 'my' chair in the living room and watch TechTV until my dad got home, and sometimes an hour or so after...Seriously, it was so enjoyable...

Then I would go outside and hit some golfballs or play pool...If I played pool I'd turn techTV on out in the garage sometimes...



I freaking LOVE TechTV to death...I would pay $300-$600 to get the entire life of TechTV on a DVD collection...Heck make it $1,000....from ZDTV until death, it would be my prized posession. It would be my childhood...

My transformation to video game kid to Level 1 Geek (where I still am today :P)

I LOVE Tech TV....


Now all I have is TWiT, which is cool..I wish I could get the video cast of it, but I'm 56k and the 30 meg podcast is a lot now....



Call 4 Help made a comeback to the US but is it still on? I know they put it on at freaking 10am weekdays or something, so how the Freak did G4 expect it to get ratings while the world is at work (and I was sleeping?)


I recorded it once, and it was cool, however too Canadian....And it dulled down..Leo just isn't as peppy without Patrick, Cat, Morgan (Webb) Yoshi and the crew with him (Remember those days? When Adam did Xplay solo (AND was MUCH more mature), with all the fun days o nTSS -sheds tear)



You guys don't even know how many petitions I 'signed' (online) to bring back TechTV, and how many e-mails I wrote to G4 (at first calm, and then hate mail)


Speaking of those e-mails they only ever responded to one, with a nice sounding "F--- off b----" basically they were like "No matter how much you want it back the popular audience wants G4 more"

Or some BS like that so I started writing hate mail, really nasty hate mail....heh....they deserve it.

Yes I was and still am an avid TechTV supporter, I keep up with Twit and Infected. Call for Help in the US was canned many moons ago, bringing it on at the time G4 did was a slap in the fact to TechTv fans. My blog used to be a hub for TechTv information concerning the merger. Posted regular updates for people to know exactly what was going on and it became rather successful if I do say so myself, the leaps in hits were tremendous, in the tens of thousands.
