First, the I agree with you on some level. I think everthing except for their "best of" cd "sucks major donkey testicles". The band I cannot stand is... every main stream pop band. What happened to voice control? What happened to song writting? What happened to talent? Now adays its all (to borrow words from Lewis Black) "titty titty, ass ass , titty ass". If I recorded me singing (take Ownage Times word for it, my voice blows.) and sent it to a good enough audio techie, he could make my voice sound like Paul Mckartney. And thats what is happening now. There are many famous singers who have been caught lip syncing. You know why that is? ITS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T SING FOR ****! They can't sing well without a huge audio studio! Remember people like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan? They wrote their own stuff, sang it beautifully and were some of the most amazing guitarist. They could make noise with there guitars that many would think to be impossible before computers. But they did it just by experimenting. Were have all the good singers gone? I miss the 60's and 70's...

Well, the obvious answer is the untalented pop stars but I'm going to have to go with Korn. Everytime I hear those downtuned (they are like 3 steps down!) guitars I just feel like I'm listening to some fat dude taking a huge ****. Jonathon Davis might even be worse. Umm... now while i agree with you those groups are really stupid and worthless and something should be done to get rid of them, but they aren't truly "goths"... freaks... yes, nerds... that depends, geeks... again that depends.

I'm not saying they aren't. Your right, stereotypes are usually created for a reason. Some people probably judge everyone wearing black to this stereotype. Even if the stereotype is mostly true, there is always a minority that shouldn't be judged just because there are some idiots that dress similar to themselves. The other issue that I have is that some people who will remain unamed will mock this goth (gothic is architecture) stereotype for being a stereotype, even though they are part of a stereotype that is just as mockable. but anyway the point by the masturbation of opinion thing is that, while the thread is about your most hated group, people that do like those bands don't want to sit here and read the same thing 20 times. It's fine that you say you don't like a group, its fine that you say why you don't like the group, and its fine to even defend your opinion, but don't ever think that your's is the only opinion and don't ever tell someone what they should or shouldn't like.
