If you didn't see todays Birmingham City - Arsenal game that's the damage done by Martin Taylor. And to prove that the gunners are over-rated we got a 2 all draw with ten men on the pitch.
P-Thunder.

Nasty break. The BBC didn't show it twice!

Neither did sky apparently. It'll be up on the net though, I was on the other side of the stands, we all thought he was being a fairy. Then they brought out the stretcher.
Found another couple

From seeing it happen you can be assured it was just a mistimed tackle, he didn't mean to do it.
That aside it was a good game. 2-2 Draw against the Arse with 10 men. If we'd of had a full team we'd of beatenm them, though if Maik Taylor hadn't fluffed up and came off his line at the right times we'd of won anyway. He really is a muppet. One of the defenders had to head the ball off his line when he ran off it!
Aside from that it was a good game, the guy next to me left with his daughter 5 minutes before the final whistle.

Holy crap! I hadn't seen it yet - that is brutal. I don't agree with Wenger that Taylor should be banned for life, but it was a disgraceful challenge nontheless.
In other news, Man United just destroyed Newcastle 5-1, which was very nice.
EDIT:
Here it is in motion:
EDIT2:
Or not. Seems to have been taken down.

No it wasn't at all, Taylor went for the ball, the other guy was faster than he could move and was got him in the leg. Taylors not as fast as he thinks and had he been a bit closer it wouldn't of happened, he was just unlucky. It's a risk that comes with the game. We all thought he was blowing it up, didn't look that serious till they brought out the stretcher.
I do agree that Arsen's comments are out of order though. Life bans? By that stretch half the Arsenal side should of been sent off, they should certainly of been penalised more than they were, the amount of obstruction and barging they were getting away with was awful.
That said, they didn't get away with the two fouls infront of the goal.

To me it looks bad - while I don't think Taylor had any malicious intent, his tackle was late and clumsy. If he had kept his studs down it may have not been as bad as it comes off.
I did make that comment based on the pictures and descriptions on Score and Radio 5 Live, and after seeing the footage, the actual challenge wasn't as 'disgraceful' as I thought it was.
Wenger has also had one of his own players commit a similar foul against John Terry (I think), and he claimed it was all 'a part of the game' - which just goes to show how much opinions change when it's your own player on the recieving end.

Yeah, they were having a right go at Wenger on WM.
Clumsy yes, but Martin Taylor is a bit slow anyway. 'Course he does manage to make contact with the ball at times, unlike Kapo (vs Fullham for example). Aside from that it was a good game, unlike the halftime juniors where we lost 1-0.
