I download it and tried it out. I can't test it out fully, however, until I get my GeForce 7800 GT next week.
My current specs are:
Intel P4 Prescott 3GHz overclocked to 3.7GHz
MSI 925X Neo Platinum motherboard
1GB DDR2-533
250GB Western Digital S-ATA, 120GB Maxtor S-ATA: running in RAID 0
Creative X-FI XtremeMusic sound card
ATI X700 256MB PCI-Express graphics card - Will be GeForce 7800 GT next week.
At my current specs, the X700 video card actually freezes up numerous times in 3DMark06.

~OwnageMoney, its all about money. Some people have all the cash in the world at their feet. Others can only hope to get rich when a money truck gets into an accident. The latter is me and others like FoxFire.

ohhh, i got 4650 point in 06 (overral score). I see futuremark have intergrated the cpu bench with the other tests. And the cpu test is dual core optimised, so you get almost the double score with an dualcore :(
Its the same tests ass inn 05 but with much better graphics (HDR and shader 3.0). And a totaly new test + the cpu tests. (i havent seen anyone who get more than 0,8 fps in the first cpu test. (with ann 3500+@4200+ i got 0,334 fps):wall:

Woah, 4.8GHz that's a world record, especially a dual core.
Current AMD WR OC: FX-57 at 4GHz

Could have been 3.8ghz, ever heard of a typo?
Anyways, I scored 1307 on 3dmark06
That's with the following:
Intel P4 2.53ghz @ 2.7
1gb DDR266 RAM
MSI GeForce 6600GT GDDR3 128mb @ 550/990 (AGP4x)
Maybe I should get a new system (or a PS3) for next year.

4.8GHz isn't uncommon. There have already been 5GHz overclocks.

This time around it's even more appealing. Between the Xbox360 and the PS3, at least ONE of them is going to have virtually any PC game you may have your eye on.
Still, I'm sort of leaning towards a PC, since I've been primarily a PC gamer for ages. If I don't get a PC, it would be either PS3 or X360 with a Revolution, depending on how it turns out.
