At the Square Enix Party 2005, it was announced that the much anticipated title, Final Fantasy XII will be released in Japan on March 16, 2006. Originally expected to be available in 2004, the twelfth installment of the company's flagship series has been hit by a series of major delays. The release in the United States is estimated in the fall or winter of 2006.
