I'm not surprised they took liberties with the story though. Polar bears pulling the White Witch's carriage? What happened to the deer? :o

I heard that the movie was extremely faithful to the novel. That really makes me wanna go see it.

I read the book ages ago... I'm never gonna see it though. Cuz frankly, I didn't care too much for the book.

It stayed very true to the book. It had a great combat scene without so much gore so it was good for small children. It was a great movie.

True to the book? I'd say impossible, as such a thing has never been done. Still, if you think so, AND have read the book, I'll allow a little hope in my heart that it can be true. ;)
At least this movie HAD an all out battle. The last live action movie's "battle" looked on par with people shoving each other to the ground...softly.

Amazing! There are actually more than 3 paragraphs! More than I have ever done. owned:
...wait a minute. PG? Is that a proper rating? :o
And do you really think more of the books can be made into movies? I'm skeptical at the thought...

I really do think that they could....there is a wealth of religious allegory and fantastic tales left.....whether or not they combine some of the books into one film is probably a good question, but I still think they can make more.....The Last Battle will be an awesome film if it ever gets made

The last battle would be the last one made...hence the last battle. has too many characters in it that you would need to see the whole series to explain it. ;)
Either the direct sequel to the L.W.W. or the sailing one are my best bet. either bring back the old characters or introduce new ones.

I didn't mean they would make The Last Battle next, I am just saying it would be an awesome book to adapt. Granted the others in between will need to be a success in order for that to happen. Anyway they are pretty much set to go on the next book......info on which one will be adapted is at the site and it involes a Prince.

The polar bears only pull her chariot into the final battle. Trust me it is a extremely good movie that stayed so close to the book.

Sounds like the movie had everything except the kitchen sink. Suppose you could settle for the lamp post. :)
