Well, I've decided to start a thread about the old classic: MW2.
Recently I dusted off an old MS-DOS copy of MechWarrior 2, and thanks to some instructions I found on the net I was able to get everything up and running.
It's been around 6-7 years since I last played it, and although the 8-bit graphics are just as bad as anything you'd expect from the year 1995, I have to say I've been having more fun playing it than I have playing any modern game in a while!
MechWarrior 2 (in my humblest of opinions) was the last one in the series that made you feel like you were piloting a huge machine, rather than playing an FPS with big robots.
Are there any other lost fans of MechWarrior or anything else involving the BattleTech universe hanging around here?
