This Movie I watched Yesterday, and WHOAH. It blew me away, the story was great the actors were great and the camera work was very original.

The Story line is very interesting and smart:
Fraternal twins set out to rid Boston of the evil men operating there while being tracked down by an FBI agent.

In total this is one of the films everyone has to see. I give it

8/10 and propose a toast. :beerchug:

Go see it if you havent allready

The Boondock Saints is one of those movies that I saw and found to be one of the biggest pieces of **** I had ever seen and I saw it before all of the over-hype. It has a story that is totally ripping off anything by Tarantino, except watered down. Uninteresting characters. One of the worst and lamest endings I have seen in a long time.

If you have not seen Overnight please do as it tells the tale of Troy Duffy, director of Boondock Saints, and what an arrogant asshole he is.

Now that I have seen Overnight, I have an even bigger reason to hate The Boondock Saints.

I hate The Boondock Saints and part 2 will be horrible.

Forget about "ripping off someone" as an excuse for not liking a movie. almost all stories these days are rip offs or recreations of previous stories. For instance, the whole vigalante idea has been tired out by Batman already. ;)

...wait, a sequel? Great. more swearing and even gruesomer violence. just what we need. they should have left it as is. but if something still has money making potential...*sigh* :(

boondocks saints is a film that stands on shakey ground. Spieldream is right, there is a lot of ripping off of other actions movies, but where a film like Batman Begins tries to innovate what has previously been done, saints doesn't try to change anything. I really don't get why so many people love this flick.....it isnt all that special, sure there are a few entertaining moments but it really doesn't deserve all the hype. Oh and Spieldream is right about the director being a prick......he was arrogant and cocky, thought he was the next big thing and what do you know....where is he now?

As for a sequel, it is just an absolute waste of money. It won't achieve anywhere near the phenomenal success of the original film, which only became popular because it was unknown, you felt like you found somthing you could call your own. How can a sequel to a movie that earned its popularity like that work at all? Plus Dafoe won't touch that pic.....and he was the sole good thing about the first. Shiiiiit, they are better off making a sequel to Donnie f'n Darko if they are gonna do that lol.
