Moderating

When you are a mod, are you allowed to make threads? I've never seen a lot of mod created threads.

Also, how does one become a mod?

I think normally you are picked when there is a need. Indeed, too many cooks spoil the broth.

You guys are intelligent <3, so there isn't much need for a large group of moderators. We just make sure you children are playing nice and delete and spambot posts that get through our detection system. XD

You're pretty much picked by the staff if we need another. The community director has a good say in who it gets to be, so do some of the higher ups on the staff. Then, if chosen, we kidnap you with a black van filled with ninjas and force you to work for free. :P

Back to the very first point, mod tend not to make threads as they are either too busy moderating, have nothing to say or find answers to any questions they may have by contacting other staff members directly.
