I was wondering if anyone out there could start a program that can be patched into CS. A program that times the moment an enemy comes into the screen to the moment you fire the first shot on target. That way at the end of the round, you can see how fast your reaction time is, and compare it to the more experienced players from around the world, and see if that is what you need to improve on.
I think it should do because reaction time is one of the main factors that defines a good or bad CS player. Similar programs which already exist in previous games such as MOHAA for percentage of accuracy should also be included in CS.

The benefits from such a program means you know how slow you are or how fast you are and any improvements required.

It's something VALVe would have to do themselves. First of all the program would sort of have to wedge itself between Cs the mod and the game engine (be it source or HL1 engine) which world "technically" make it a hack. Cheating death would make it utterly useless, and VAC might detect it and ban you.

Basically it works like an aimbot, but instead of shooting as soon as it detects an on-screen entity, it waits until you click and records the time.

Another thing I need to ask concerning CSS, what happened to the model for the SAS CT? I recently redownloaded CSS and the model is not there.

Exactly.

As fasr as the SAS model is concerned, Valve have been very productive of late. They're supposedly going to update Counter Strike Source soon. Expect it to come out before Christmas.

Well instead of a reaction time, why not an accuracy mod, like damage mod to tell you how accurate you are
