AI *****s, and button mashers. Especially in console games... it's so retarded!!!
A good non-console example is CS. Remember the CS: Source beta? The double grenade bug? For that short while.... every top player in EVERY SERVER was using the stupid exploit and getting nade kills, because stupid Source was throwing two grenades instead of one! Stupid Gabe Newell... I hope he chokes on some KFC for that one.
Fighting games are no better. This is where button mashers come in. Guys who come into the fight with NO strategy, and worse yet NO knowledge of the controls... they just start smashing buttons like mad and pull of special after special after special after special after special and TKO you. LIKE WTF!!! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Geez man... I should get one of those helper monkeys... might help me win a **** fight!!!
You know what else grinds my gears? Trash talkers. Like what the hell dude... I just kicked your ass in game, shut the hell up already! Want some more? OK, I'll do it again!! The worst is counterstrike players.
See, in the world of counterstrike there are three types of players: Noobs, hackers, and campers. Anyone with skill, fast reflexes, or accuracy is a hacker. Anyone who plays strategically, or acutally follows the map goals is a camper. You'd think in real life that in a hostage situation, a terrorist would guard the hostage, right? NO OF COURSE NOT, HE'D RATHER RUN RIGHT OUT OF THE BUILDING WITH A KNIFE WHILE THE CTs ARE STORMING IN WITH THEIR BIG RIFLES! Noobs can be any combination of the two. The worst thing in the world is the noob that thinks he's pro. Like DUDE LOOK AT THE SCOREBOARD... oh wait, yeah of course that's it, I must be hacking... there's no possible way that a guy playing the game for the very first **** time could POSSIBLY get killed. :nonono2: I'm so sorry... I think I'll turn off my hacks now, and maybe I'll stop using that PERFECTLY LEGAL GUN THAT YOU SEEM TO LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT SO MUCH.... like what the hell? It's IN THE GAME for a reason moron!!

I have this friend... he's 16 (year younger than me) and he's into the NHL games (doesn't know a **** thing about hockey tho). We were playing NHL 2006 today... ALL he does is use AI exploits. Like the thing where you can just smash left/right/left/right really friggin fast and put the puck in the net cause the goalie gets dizzy and flops to the ice... EVERY FREEKING GOAL!!!! Of course, being the uber pro hockey player that I am, I beat him 5 times to none in the EA Free 4 All (See my review of NHL 2006, which is nowhere to be seen on the site =S) and 5 games to none in acutal game action. One of those guys who like to talk a lot of trash, even after the lamest of moves. He does a spin deke starts talking trash.... i get the puck... BOOM HEADSHOT!! (err... top corner =D)
And that's what really grinds my gears :)
Next time, I'll be handing out a steaming hot plate of ownage to those stupid console kiddies, and we'll probably touch on 1337 5p34k as well :wall:
